Movies in the Park: Over the Hedge

The Chicago Park District presents Movies in the Park, a summer-long screening of classic and contemporary films in Chicago parks. Tonight's screening: Over the Hedge (PG) at GalewoodPark (5729 W. Bookslut reading @ Hopleaf

Bookslut returns from summer vacation with the latest in its series of monthly readings. Tonight's reading starts at 7:30 PM at the Hopleaf in Andersonville (doors open at 6:00), and features authors Kate Christensen (The Great Man), Phil LaMarche (American Youth) and Lara Santoro (Mercy). Introduction to Fermentation

Sandor Ellix Katz, aka Sandorkraut, has been promoting the glories of fermentation through his web site, Wild Fermentation, and books on fermentation and food revolutionaries.
