Local indie-pop group May Or May Not celebrates the release of its sophomore full-length, A Kaleidoscope Of Egos, with a month-long residency at Schubas. The band promises to pull out all the stops during these shows, while previewing material from Egos -- which runs the gamut from New Pornographers-inspired indie-rock to the psychedelic pop of Panda Bear's Person Pitch. Charlemagne and Atlantic Divide open the show. $6. 9pm.
Dignity Waits, the solo show by Jamie Buell, winner of the first season of the acclaimed Impress These Apes contest earlier this year, will be performed tonight at 8:00 p.m. at the the Playground Theater, 3208 N. Halsted Street, and will be running each Monday through October 1.
