The Chuckle Bowl Spectacular at the Lincoln Square Lanes, 4874 N. Lincoln Ave., will feature open bowling, music by DJ "Bubbles Sanchez," stand-up comedy by Mike O’Connell, Allison Lieber and Steve O. Harvey, short films, free pizza and a cheap bar. Jon Brion, known for his stellar production work for the likes of Fiona Apple, Kanye West and Rufus Wainwright, plays two sets to ring in 2008. Brion's one-man show promises jaw-dropping compositions of originals and covers, as he spontaneously switches from guitar to keys to drums, and there's a better than average chance a few friends might drop by for the new year's festivities.
