The Chuckle Bowl

The Chuckle Bowl Spectacular at the Lincoln Square Lanes, 4874 N. Jon Brion @ Harris Theater

Jon Brion, known for his stellar production work for the likes of Fiona Apple, Kanye West and Rufus Wainwright, plays two sets to ring in 2008. Brion's one-man show promises jaw-dropping compositions of originals and covers, as he spontaneously switches from guitar to keys to drums, and there's a better than average chance a few friends might drop by for the new year's festivities. Holy Roller's New Year's Eve

Ring in this New Year in high style at Holy Roller's New Year's Eve '08. Doors open at 9:00 at a secret location - you must RSVP for the address. The evening's entertainers include Matt Roan + E, DJ Andrew Foster and DJ Coyote DG. Enjoy a midnight dance-a-long with Chicago's own Team Band. Heartland Cafe New Year's Eve Bash

Reggae artists Aswah Gregory and the Enforcers headline the Heartland's year-end party. For 25 bucks, you get admission to the Red Line Tap and Heartland Cafe, Champagne at midnight, Heartland Cafe's New Year's Eve Buffet, and registration to the Athletes United For Peace's Last Race of The Year 2007. Too Much Light New Year's Party

Welcome Baby New Year with a special benefit performance of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind, bringing you 30 plays for the final 60 minutes of 2007.
