Works in Progress: Kristina Sparks @ MCA

Local artist Sparks shares her creative process in the museum space, creates new work and interacts with visitors. Sparks is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and her fashions draw upon a wide variety of influences, including her own background in dance. Documentary Short Films @ Landmark Century Centre

The Midwest Independent Film Festival hosts this collection of documentary short films at Landmark Centure Centre as part of its First Tuesdays program. A cocktail reception at the theater starts off the program at 6pm, followed by a screenplay reading at 6:30pm, the films at 7:30pm and finally, an afterparty at Cousin's (2833 N. Broadway).
