Tonight at 9pm, hit Subterranean, 2011 W. North Ave., for Freedom: F*ck Yeah!, benefiting Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. Music by Sound Conspiracy, Million $ Mano, Marco Morales, Capcom, LA*Jesus and the Hey Champ DJs. Hosted by Hilary Rawk, with a live video installation by MF Chicago. Tickets are just $8 in advance. 21+

A3 @ Cubby Bear

Alabama3, aka A3, of "Sopranos" theme song fame, play the Cubby Bear, Clark & Addison, tonight at 10:30pm. The show is a benefit for the Chicago chapter of the National Autism Association. Tickets are $27.50 in advance.

Evanston/Pilsen/Wicker Park Mass Rides

The three disparate communities host their respective semi-impromptu rides today and the first Friday of every month; “semi” because the route is determined shortly before take-off. The Evanston ride begins at 6:30 p.m. at Fountain Square at Davis and Sherman Ave., while the Pilsen run takes off at 7 p.m. at Tenochtitlan Plaza, 18th St., Blue Island Ave. and Loomis St. Like its name suggests, the Pilsen Circular ends up where it starts. Meanwhile, the Wicker Park run takes off from Nelsen Algren Fountain, Division St. and Milwaukee Ave

Oakland A’s vs. Chicago White Sox @ U.S. Cellular Field

The White Sox West Coast nemesis arrives at The Cell. Game time is 6:05 p.m. at the ballpark, 333 W. 35th St.

Taste of Chicago

The Taste of Chicago runs thru 7/6, bringing its sea of gastronomic tidbits to Grant Park once again. This year, plan your route with an interactive map. Admission is free, but food and drink tickets are sold in strips of 12 for $8 at the festival. Get all the lowdown on the music, food, cooking demos, and family activities online.
