BoyGirlBoyGirl: A Dreadful Day @ Live Bait

BoyGirlBoyGirl, the local solo theater performance ensemble that's made up of alumni of various local theatre companies (such as the Neo-Futurists and Theatre Oobleck), present A Dreadful Day, an evening of dreadful tales inspired by a 19th century children's book of cautionary tales. A Dreadful Day will be performed four nights only: tonight and tomorrow night, and next weekend on July 18th and 19th. The show will be at Live Bait Theatre (3914 N. San Francisco Giants vs. Chicago Cubs @ Wrigley Field

Lumpen 17th Anniversary Action

Jay Byrnes: "Go With The Flow" Opening @ Threadless

Showcasing his experience as both graphic artist and illustrator, Byrnes’ art focuses on urban life, blending graffiti-like characters with elements of popular culture, and using color and collage. "The street, people watching, experiences as I travel and just letting my mind wander” is what artist J. Byrnes says inspired the work in his one-man show. “My work reflects my surroundings. I can get ideas just walking through my neighborhood, or riding on the el train.
