The Music Box Theatre hosts an evening of radio plays performed by Wildclaw Theatre. Deathscribe: Ten Minutes of Terror Radio Play Festival will feature five short plays performed live in the style of old-time radio shows, with live sound effects and everything. The evening kicks off tonight at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and can be purchased at the Wildclaw Website. Music Box: 3733 N. Southport.

Join the actors from Steppenwolf Theatre for a dramatic reading of selections from Tom Wolfe's The Right Stuff, the current One Book, One Chicago selection. Author Natalie Y. Moore comes to the Woodson Regional Library for a discussion of her new work Deconstructing Tyrone: A New Look at Black Masculinity in the Hip-Hop Generation. In this book, "Tyrone" is the black man seen by the media, through stereotypes and through the eyes of black women, allowing Moore and co-author Natalie Hopkinson to examine black masculinity through a variety of perspectives.
