All Girl Rock'n'Roll Arm Wrestling

The Chicago Outfit roller derby league expands into arm wrestling with a fundraiser tonight at 7pm at Reggie's Music Joint, 2105 S. State St. A $5 donation gets you in to see the over the top action -- and if you're female, you can sign up to compete yourself. Beer specials throughout the night, and Your Little Ponies performs. 21+

Chicago Rarities Orchard Project Benefit

Chicago Rarities Orchard Project (CROP) is a new organization dedicated to preserving rare and endangered fruits in Chicago, and they plan to do that by building a series of urban orchards dedicated to growing some rarer species of apples. Tonight they're having a fundraiser at Danny's Tavern from 9pm - 2am to help establish their first orchard.
