E for Everyone @ Cafe Lura

Playfully called E for Everyone, this inaugural night of beats and movement will host a classic and acid house set from Nate Unique, resident DJs Chrissy Murderbot (who will be living it up in Europe for this first go 'round) and Popstatic, as well as an old-school garage set from Whoa-B. Acme Miniature Flea Circus @ Intuit

Chicagoans get their first chance to witness trained insects in action as the Acme Flea Circus makes its Chicago premiere this weekend at Intuit, 756 N. Milwaukee Ave., 6:30pm. Art Against AIDS 2009

The Junior Board of Heartland Alliance hosts Art Against AIDSĀ® 2009, benefiting the organization's work to advance human rights for all, including extensive networks of supportive services for people living with HIV/AIDS. Named one of Chicago's Top 100 Events by BizBash Magazine, this philanthropic after-work party features more than 75 works of art in a variety of media, including original pieces by local and national artists. Guests will enjoy an exciting live and silent fine art auction, cocktails, gourmet fare, music and live entertainment.

World Kitchen Learning Series: Get in the Kitchen

If you've never really cooked but want to fire up your skills, this four-part class will get you going in the kitchen. You can take as many classes in this series as desired. The "Get in the Kitchen" class series goes from 6-8:30pm at the Gallery 37 Center for the Arts, 66 E. Randolph Street. This class is offered through the City of Chicago's World Kitchen learning series. Admission is $30 for single classes ($100 for all four) and pre-registration is required.

Left Field Documentary Screening

Left Field, a new documentary about Chicago's unofficial kickball league, screens at Portage Park Theatre, 4050 N. Milwaukee Ave., tonight at 7:30pm. "A whole lot more" is promised as well. Tickets are $9.99.

Jordan and Steve are Steve and Jordan, Respectively

Jordan Klepper and Steve Waltien perform their critically adored sketch show "Jordan and Steve are Steve and Jordan, Respectively" tonight at the iO Theater (3541 N. Clark) to showcase it for the Montreal Comedy Fest. The show begins at 6pm and is free. Call 773-880-0199 for more details.
