Glasvegas @ Bottom Lounge
Glaswegian rock band Glasvegas has kicked around for a few years with some singles, but it wasn't until last year's self-titled album that they began to achieve some US success. With a little Jesus & Mary Chain, some Edge-sounding guitar tones and a singer with a ridiculously thick Scottish brogue, Glasvegas is making waves. Electric Six/Bang Camaro @ Double Door
Electric Six is a six-piece metro Detroit-based band who truly mixes genres, having been described as garage, disco, punk, new wave, and metal. Bang Camaro is a hard rock band with anywhere from ten to twenty vocalists. Tonight they both appear at Double Door as part of the club's 15th Anniversary celebration.
