The film itself has won numerous awards such as seven Césars (the French equivalent to the Oscars), including one for best picture.

The film premieres at the Music Box Theatre (3733 N. Southport Ave.) tonight. General admission is $9.25.

Everyman: The Classic Rock Ballet @ Vittum Theater

Innervation Dance Cooperative's Classic Rock Ballet Everyman, with an all-female cast and 100% Led Zeppelin soundtrack, tells the allegory of Everyman. We enter on her live-for-the-moment life just before she receives a visit from Death, and our heroine begs to be given more time. She spends the rest of the ballet searching for a companion for the inevitable journey. IDC has retained the message of the medieval morality play, while telling a story with moments of humor, an enormous amount of love, emotional highs and lows, and a sense of catharsis.
Vittum Theater, 1012 N. Noble, 8pm, $18 ($15 student/senior). Click here for tickets and more info.
Tonight Only: "Your Turn to Tango" benefit @ Ritz Tango Cafe, just blocks from the theater, immediately following the show. $60 includes a ticket to the show, open bar, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and a tango lesson! Come mingle and dance with the IDC dancers. Contact info@innervationdance.org for benefit tickets.

On the Trail of a Disorderly Future: Chicago Pedway Guided Tour

Ever wonder about that tangled ribbon of corridors that runs throughout 40 blocks of downtown Chicago? How did it get there -- and what does it look like? Join artist Hui-min Tsen for a guided tour that re-imagines the tunnel's origins according to residual undercurrents in our urban history. Originally part of the Version Fest, the 90-minute tour is being remounted today at 2pm at the southwest corner of Wacker and State. The tour is free but entrance to the train station does cost $2.25, so be sure to have train fare. For more information visit chicagopedwaytour.com.
