Rollin' Outta Here Naked: A Big Lebowski Burlesque

Vaudezilla presents "Rollin' Outta Here Naked: A Big Lebowski Burlesque," at 10pm tonight and every Saturday in September at the Gorilla Tango Theatre, 1919 N. Milwaukee Ave. -- as well as at Lebowski Fest. Featuring dances inspired by the cult classic film, performers Red Hot Annie, Wham Bam Pam, Donna Touch, Bonny Babs and Maria May I will have you out of your element in no time. Tickets are $15 in advance.

Chicago Gourmet @ Pritzker Pavilion

Even though last year's inaugural event left much to be desired, Chicago Gourmet returns again to Pritzker Pavilion today, 11am-6pm. While you eat small plate-style dishes from Chicago's most famous chefs and drink from the huge wine selection, you'll have lectures and the Pavilion to enjoy. Tickets from $115.

Guided Tree Walk

Learn the basics of tree identification and walk around the Chicago River with REI, as staff member, Naturalist, and Tree Keeper Janet Mrowka leads a 30-minute class on trees, followed by an hour walk to the river near Kingsbury. Dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes. The class runs from 10:30am-noon and meets at REI (1466 N. Halsted). Free, but reservations are required. Call (312) 951-6020 to reserve your spot.

Fear @ Neo-Futurarium

The Neo-Futurists kick off their 2009-10 season with Fear, a look at the horror tales of Edgar Allen Poe. The play will be presented as a "thinking man's haunted house," with rooms in the theater being taken over by different individuals, each presenting a take on Poe's themes. Fear opens tonight and runs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm through October 31. Tickets are $15 ($10 for seniors/students) or pay-what-you-can on Thursday nights. Baby Pictures @ Pivot

Green boutique Pivot (1101 W. Fulton Market) celebrates the launch of their Pivot Baby line featuring local designer Chapter One Organics with a B.Y.O.B. Photo Day (that last "B" stands for "baby" this time) on Saturday September 26th from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Organic loving youngsters are invited to attend a professional photograph session and enjoy treats provided by Bleeding Heart Organic Bakery and Gourmet Gorilla Kids. Every handbag lover needs a dream--in this case, the annual 1154 Lill handbag sample sale, which will take place today at their 1511 West 38th St warehouse. Lakeview East Festival of the Arts

The fifth annual Lakeview East Festival of the Arts takes place today and tomorrow on Broadway Avenue, just north of Belmont. Over 160 juried artists will be showing work in almost every genre and medium you can think of. Food, entertainment, and activities for the kids will also be available. The fest is open from 10am to 5pm and admission is free.

Banned Books Read-Out

Celebrate all books that have been banned or challenged with the American Library Association's Banned Books Read-Out. Author Chris Crutcher will host the authors of six of the most challenged books of 2008 and City Lit Theatre Company, along with Chicago Public Library Readers' Theatre, will perform work from frequently challenged authors.
