Covers for Cover II @ Lincoln Hall
Tonight, female bands pay homage to their favorite rock, new wave, and punk bands to benefit the CAWC Greenhouse Shelter. The musicians include members of The Mekons, The Dials, The Venom Lords, Kim, WLUW DJs, etc. They'll cover songs from bands like The Cars, Kiss, David Bowie, and The Breeders. The music styles range from alt-country to new wave to Hawaiian to rock and roll. This fun benefit is MCed by Rattina, the rat puppet co-host of "Chic-A-Go-Go." The show starts at 8pm and admission is $12. 18+. Lincoln Hall is located at 2424 N. Lincoln.
Luca Corazzine @ Green City Market
Luca Corazzina of 312 Chicago will conduct a 10:30am chef demonstration at Green City Market, which is currently located at the Notebart Nature Museum (Fullerton at Lake Shore). This is also the last market until January 16th so stock up!
