Two-Hour Comedy Hour @ Gallery Cabaret

This week's Two-Hour Comedy Hour, a weekly standup comedy showcase hosted by Trey Mowder, features standup comedians Joe Kilgallon, C.J. Toledano, Ricky Gonzalez, Kevin Lee, Lane Pieschel and Nate Simmons. This free show features a different lineup each week. There's no cover for the 21+ show -though a $5 donation is accepted - and it runs from 7-9 pm at Gallery Cabaret, 2020 N. Oakley (near Western and Milwaukee, just off the Blue Line stop). Guests are encouraged to arrive early.

StoryStudio Chicago: Author Talk

Earth Day Dollar Day Sale @ Buffalo Exchange

Green and Growing Fair @ Garfield Park Conservatory

Celebrate Earth Day and the return of spring at the Annual Green & Growing Fair at the Garfield Park Conservatory, today from 10am-3pm (300 North Central Park). Kanikapila with Uke Nation @ Grafton Pub

Ke Ali`i Victoria Ka`iulani Hawaiian Civic Club and 'Uke Nation present a kanikapila (Hawaiian jam session) at the Grafton Pub (4530 N. Lincoln) this afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. Musicians, dancers and singers are invited to join in a two-hour get-together to celebrate the music of the Pacific Islands. Admission is a suggested contribution of $5, which goes to the local branch of the Hawaiian Civic Club, a nonprofit community-based organization. Build Your Own Treasure Workshop @ Intuit

Start out by exploring Intuit's exhibition, The Treasure of Ulysses Davis, where you will find inspiration to carve and chisel your very own treasure. The workshop will be led by Chicago artist and sculptor, Dan Galemb. Arm Wrestle the Windy City Rollers

Here's your chance to arm-wrestle a roller girl: The Windy City Rollers are hosting an arm-wrestling competition tonight at Reggie's (2105 South State Street). Chicago Outfit Double-Header Bout

The Chicago Outfit roller derby league opens their 2010 season with a double header vs. the Paper Valley All Stars and the Flyin Squirrels tonight at 7 p.m. at the Windy City Fieldhouse (2367 West Logan Blvd.). Tickets are $15 presale, $20 at the door.
