Taxi Driver @ Film Center

The Gene Siskel Film Center continues its Quentin Tarantino retrospective with a screening of one of Tarantino's favorite films, Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver, this evening at 6pm. From Punk To Funk @ Reggies Rock Club

A benefit for Matthew Leone of the band Medina Lake is taking place at Reggie's Rock Club tonight. The bassist was beaten as he tried to stop a woman who was being assaulted by her husband. The lineup includes a wide range of bands and DJs, with all proceeds going to The Matthew Leone Fund -- this will help with medical bills as the musician recovers. $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Jason Adasiewicz @ MCA's Tuesdays on the Terrace

Every Tuesday during the summer the Museum of Contemporary Art presents free live jazz concerts from some of the city's most legendary and innovative musicians. Tonight's performance features Jason Adasiewicz. Grab some friends and a blanket for a relaxing evening on the garden lawn, or make a night of it with a reservation at Puck's.
