Laika Dog In Space previews @ Neo-Futurarium
The Neo-Futurists present a remount of the New York Neo-Futurists' 2009 play Laika Dog In Space, an examination of the short life of the Russian space-exploring canine and how the play's authors & performers relate to Laika's story. The play is in previews tonight and tomorrow, and officially opens on Saturday, February 5. The play takes place at the Neo-Futurarium (5153 N. Ashland), and show time for all nights is 8pm. The Guest At Central Park West @ ICE Theaters
ICE Theaters, 210 E. 87th St., presents The Guest at Central Park West, starring Northwestern University and Second City alumnus John Marshall Jones, tonight at 7pm. The film, shot as a stage play for the big screen, explores the relationship between two couples and an unexpected guest with a dark past. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the box office.
