"The Prairie Spirit" Lecture @ Second Presbyterian
Professor Barbara Geiger delivers a lecture on the work of Victorian landscape architects O.C. Simonds and Jens Jensen, who used native prairie and woodland plants to shape the settings in places like Graceland Cemetery and Garfield Park Conservatory. A reception starts at 6 pm, with the lecture following at 7. The historic Second Presbyterian Church is located at 1936 S. Michigan, and a $5 donation is suggested for the event.
