Lipstick & Lyrics: "Girls Night Out"

The Chicago Gay Men's Chorus presents "Lipstick & Lyrics," an evening of performances by some of the city's best singing female impersonators. This year's theme is "Girls Night Out." It's at Mayne Stage, 1328 W. Morse Ave., tonight at 9:30pm; doors open at 8pm. Tickets are $25 or $50 for reserve seating in the front row. 18+

Handmade Holidays Craft Fair @ Chicago Urban Art Society

Today's HANDMADE HOLIDAYS CRAFT FAIR features over 30 vendors, selling their hand-made crafts at the fair, including: clothing, jewelry, pottery, leather goods, soaps, paintings, silk-screens, etc. and an additional 15 vendors selling homemade food. The first and second place winners of the Sixth Annual Feria del Mole will be selling their famous mole. This fair takes place today from 11am to 6pm at the Chicago Urban Arts Society at 2229 South Halsted Street. The Second Annual Craft Fair a fundraiser to benefit programs at Universidad Popular and to help support the Students for Students scholarship. More info here.

Vintage Bazaar Pop-up Shop

The Vintage Bazaar opens a holiday pop-up shop at 2133 N. Milwaukee Ave this weekend. Shop for vintage furniture, art, clothing and crafts from 14 vendors .The pop-up shop is open Nov. 12-13 from 10am to 7pm, with a preview party on Nov. 11.

Pinot Days Grand Festival @ Navy Pier

Crime in Chicago Bus Tour

The Chicago History Museum, 1601 N. Clark St, has author Richard Lindberg leading the "Murder and Mayhem in Chicago: North by Northwest" bus tour today from 1-5pm. The tour will explore where famous crimes took place, the aftermath, and their historical repurcussions on Chicago. Tickets are $45 per person, $40 for members. Peter Pan @ Music Box

The Music Box Theatre presents the final film in its Second Saturday Silent Cinema series, a 1924 adaptation of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan with Betty Bronson in the title role. The film screens at noon, and will feature accompaniment by Music Box organist Dennis Scott. Tickets are $10, or $8 for students and seniors. Garage Sale/Bake Sale @ NAHA

Chicago's finest chefs are teaming together to host a garage sale/bake sale this Saturday with proceeds going to Les Dames D'Escoffier and Green City Market. Garage sale junkies will find hidden treasures from the kitchens of Achatz, Bayless, and Trotter to name a few. Think chefs' knives, kitchen tools, sautee pans, cookbooks, aprons, and Green City Market founder Abby Mendel's cookie cutter collection. Plus tasty old fashioned baked goods will be available for purchase from Hoosier Mama Pie Company, Vanille Patisserie, Publican's Sam Radov, Mindy Segal, Gale Gand, and others.

The sale will run from 8am to 2pm at NAHA. Cash only. $5 entrance fee.
