Composer/Trombonist George Lewis @ MCA
Esteemed composer and master trombonist George Lewis presents, in collaboration with the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), a series of works on the Museum of Contemporary Art's performance stage (220 E. Chicago Ave.), starting at 3 p.m. Includes five compositions, two of them by Lewis, one by Chicago flautist, composer, and fellow AACM member Nicole Mitchell, and one each by Steve Lehman and Tyshawn Sorey. Super Bowl Party @ Empty Bottle
