Veggie Bingo @ Hideout
The Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia Ave., hosts Veggie Bingo from 5:30 to 8pm on Wednesdays. Co-sponsored by NeighborSpace, Hideout Veggie Bingo features a grand prize of fresh produce from Irv and Shelly's Fresh Picks, plus many more prizes donated by various local organizations and individuals. There are also free hot dogs donated by Hot Doug's! Bingo cards are $2 each, or three for $5; all proceeds benefit local gardens.

Story Lab stands apart from other series in the city in its accessibility and unmitigated audience support for the performers. Join storytellers and story lovers at the Black Rock Pub, 3614 N. Damen Ave., where each month, an entirely different lineup of up-and-coming storytellers share their freshest pieces. This month's readers include: Robin Gelfenbien, Carolyn Guido, Jill Howe, Greg Poljacik, Julie Sadowski, Philip Siegel, and Rachael Smith.
