Chicago Barn Dance Company
The Chicago Barn Dance Company hosts a dance tonight at 7pm at the Irish-American Heritage Center, 4626 N. Knox Ave., with Tribune columnist Eric Zorn as guest caller. A beginners workshop starts at 6:30pm. Admission is $7 at the door, $5 for students.
Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde @ Portage Theater
The Silent Film Society presents Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde, the 1920 version starring John Barrymore, with live organ accompaniment tonight at 7:35pm at the Portage Theater, 4050 N. Milwaukee Ave. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
The Heartless Bastards @ Metro
Soulful rock band the Heartless Bastards will play at Metro, 3730 N. Clark St., tonight. They will be promoting their new album, Arrow. Doors open at 8pm, and the show starts at 9pm. Tickets are $16, 18+
