Title 9K race

Head to Lincoln Park and Diversey Harbor this morning to run or cheer ladies as they run in the second annual Title 9K in Chicago. Kids can participate in a "T9K Rag-A-Muffin Run" at 8:15am, and ladies take off from the start at 9am. Register and learn more.

Vintage Garage Chicago

Vintage Garage Chicago brings more than 100 vintage and antique dealers to the parking garage at 5051 N. Broadway, from 9am to 4pm today. Admission is $3.

Modern Vintage Chicago

Randolph Street Market's Modern Vintage Chicago show runs today and Sunday in the Plumber's Hall, 1340 W. Washington St. Browse vintage clothing, jewelry and accessories from dozens of vendors from 10am to 5pm. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door.

Shalom Chicago Opening Day Celebration

The Chicago History Museum, 1601 N. Clark St., celebrates the opening of "Shalom Chicago," an exhibit about the city's Jewish community, with a reception today from noon to 5pm co-sponsored by the Spertus Institute. The Maxwell Street Klezmer Band will perform. Admission is free for Spertus and Chicago History Museum members, and is free with Museum admission for non-members.

Experimental and improvised music by Chicago Latino composers @ Elastic Arts Foundation

The Latino Music Festival started in late August and runs through December 9 at various venues around Chicago. While the lineup mostly features classical and traditional music from Latin America and Spain, the festival takes a leap towards more unconventional sounds tonight with a showcase of experimental and improvised music from various Chicago Latino composers at the Elastic Arts Foundation in Logan Square. The event begins at 5pm and is open to all ages. The Elastic Arts Foundation is located at 2830 N. Milwaukee Ave., on the second floor. Admission is free.

St. Feuillien Brewery Owner @ Fountainhead

Dominique Friart, owner of St. Feuillien Brewery in Belgium, will be at The Fountainhead, 1970 W. Montrose Ave., tonight at 7pm to talk about her beers, her brewery and its collaboration with California's Green Flash Brewery. The Fountainhead will offer special pairing menus inside the restaurant and on the heated rooftop patio.

A Concert of Covers: Songs About Food

The Southside Hub of Production, 5638 S. Woodlawn Ave. hosts "A Concert of Covers," an open-mic concert in which every song performed must be a cover -- with the added theme of "Food." The show starts at 7pm, and SHoP's weekly potluck will be going on at the same time, so bring some food and enjoy the music. Free.

Ida @ Old Town School

Ida performs at the Old Town School of Folk Music, 4544 N. Lincoln Ave., tonight, with Leaf Bird opening. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are $15, $13 for members.
