Free Sailor Jerry Tattoos @ Chicago Tattooing Co.
Sailor Jerry Rum is giving away 102 anchor tattoos today at Chicago Tattooing Co., 1017 W. Belmont Ave., beginning at noon. First-come first-served, 21-and-over and only the anchor tattoo is free. Don't forget to tip your artist. Sailor Jerry will be on hand with giveaways; anyone who gets a tattoo also gets a token for a free rum drink at Trader Todd's.
Baconfest Satellite Dinner @ Three Aces
Three Aces' chef Matt Troost gets porky with it at tonight's five-course spectacle of bacon, complete with two cocktails and a bourbon-bacon milkshake to boot. Event is $75; doors open at Three Aces (1321 West Taylor) at 6:30pm.
Sci Fi & Fantasy Book Club @ Filter Cafe
The Chicago Nerds Social Club presents their monthly sci fi and fantasy book club meeting tonight at Filter Cafe (1373-75 North Milwaukee) from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Jimi Hendrix Woodstock Concert @ Music Box
The Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave., screens Hendrix 70: Live at Woodstock tonight at 7:30pm. The film captures nearly the entire Woodstock performance (portions weren't filmed), matched up with a surround sound audio mix. Tickets are $11.
