Parlour Car @ Bar Deville

Parlour Car is a free, weekly stand-up comedy show at 8pm on Thursdays at Bar Deville (701 N Damen). Produced by local comics Adam Burke, Matty Ryan, and Kenny DeForest, Parlour Car combines "top notch comedy with top notch booze." The show is followed by Bar Deville's weekly dance party that features a rotating cast of local DJs.

Chicago Underground Film Festival

The Chicago Underground Film Festival runs March 6-10 at the Logan Theatre, 2646 N. Milwaukee Ave. Tonight's screenings include two short film programs at 6:30pm and 7pm; Ape preceded by the short Black Metal at 8pm; and School of Change preceded by several short films at 9pm. Tickets for each program are $7 online or at the door, or get a festival pass for $60.

Congrats on Your Success @ Uncharted Books

The first Thursday of every month Congrats on Your Success showcases a diverse crowd of comics at Logan Square's Uncharted Books, and this month is no different.
Performers include: CoYS producer Rebecca O'Neal, Ian Abramson (Talk Hard, Talent Scouts Honor), Nicholas Rouley (Kind of Blue Comedy), Davey Boy Helem (Jokes and Notes), and Candy Lawrence (Just for Laughs). Hosted by CoYS producer Bill Bullock. Show starts at 7 and there may or may not be *free* beer courtesy of Powell Brew House. Maybe. Possibly.

Story Club @ The Holiday Club

Story Club, a live lit show and open mic hosted by Dana Norris, hosts their March show on Thursday, March 7 at 7:30 PM at the Holiday Club, 4000 N. Sheridan. Open mic sign up starts at 7:30 pm with three slots available. The theme this month is "In Like a Lion," with featured performers Ray Teresi and The Moth host Don Hall. Admission is free.

Dar Williams @ Old Town School

Dar Williams performs at the Old Town School of Folk Music Maurer Concert Hall, 4544 N. Lincoln Ave., tonight at 8pm. Tickets are $30, $28 for members.
