Vintage Garage kicks off its 2013 season today. Browse through dealers of antique and vintage clothing, art, furniture and collectibles in the parking garage at 5051 N. Broadway from 9am to 5pm. There will also be a "style ride" bicycle tour through Uptown and Edgewater, starting at 11am from the show. Admission is $3, and anyone who shows up for the style ride in vintage attire gets in free.
The Chicago International Movies and Music Festival, aka CIMMfest, runs April 18-21 at multiple venues. Tonight's events begin at 6pm; see the schedule for full details. Tickets for individual events vary; get a festival pass for $50.
The DuSable Museum, 740 E. 56th Pl., presents artist and photographer Terrence A. Reese in "Reflections: Gallery Talk with TAR," today from 3pm-5pm. Reese will discuss his exhibit, "Reflections," his black-and-white "documentary-style photography series" of personal stories, reflections and experiences with photographing history-making artists including Gordon Parks, The Nicholas Brothers and more. The 29th annual Chicago Latino Film Festival, organized by the International Latino Cultural Center, runs April 11-25 at the AMC Loews Theatres 600, 600 N. Michigan Ave. Today's screenings begin at 3pm; see the schedule for full details. Tickets to each film are $11.
Delilah's, 2771 N. Lincoln Ave., kicks off a week of events leading up to Whiskeyfest with a tasting of beers aged in whiskey barrels, beginning at noon today. Beers from more than 50 breweries will be on tap. No cover, $20 for 20 sample tickets. 21+
Second City and Lyric Opera Chicago host Improv & Arias, an informal evening of sketch comedy, improvisation and opera, tonight at Up Comedy Club, 230 W. North Ave. Doors open at 6:15, show's at 7pm. Tickets are $15.
Chicago's favorite comedy sister duo act, The Puterbaugh Sisters, host Entertaining Julia, a free comedy, music and variety show every Sunday at Town Hall Pub (3340 N Halsted) at 9:30pm.
