Brave New Art World, a new open house night in the River North gallery district, debuts tonight from 5 to 8pm. There will be performance art in the streets, critical talks and exhibition openings throughout the neighborhood, centered on Wells and Franklin streets. Free.
Normally you only get to hear Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me! on the radio. And occasionally, if you're lucky enough to snag a ticket, you can go to a live (audio) taping of the show. However, today, beamed to select theaters in Chicago at 7pm, you can see (like, with your eyes not just your imagination) Paula Poundstone, Mo Rocca, Tom Bodett, Peter Segal and crowd favorite Carl Kasell.
