Art is the Word @ Peanut Gallery
The Peanut Gallery, 1000 N. California Ave, hosts Art is the Word, a blending of writing and visual art. Artists and writers often switch hats, influence one another, and belong to the same cultural dialogues. Three workshops -- tonight, May 21 and May 28 -- on the topic of text incorporation in the visual arts will take place followed by an exhibition displaying collaborative works that evolve out of the workshops, will run from 7 to 10pm. Participants will have a choice to collaborate with others in any way they please. The creation of collaborative work based on the workshops is encouraged, and works produced from the workshops will be included in an upcoming exhibition.
