Frank Lloyd Wright Housewalk

The Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust's Wright Plus housewalk of Wright-designed homes in Oak Park runs from 9am to 5pm today, and includes several homes that are new to the tour. Tickets are $85 for members, $100 for non-members.

Mayfest

Mayfest kicks off the summer street festival season this weekend at Ashland and Barry avenues this weekend, May 17-19. Enjoy beer, food and live music by The Personnel, Hairbanger's Ball and Too White Crew under a huge tent, as well as Kids Day entertainment from 10am to 2pm. Admission is $10. The fest is open from 10am to 10pm today.

Green Festival Chicago

Green Festival Chicago returns to Navy Pier today and Sunday, May 18-19. Attend presentations by more than 100 speakers from the environmental and social justice community, tour the exhibit hall, watch films in the Sierra Club Green Cinema, check out eco-fashion exhibits, attend workshops and enjoy live music and an organic, vegetarian and vegan food court and organic beer and wine garden. Admission is $10 online in advance, $15 at the door; a festival fan weekend pass admits two people both days for $32, available online only. You can also get in free with a donation of three nonperishable food items to the Great Chicago Food Depository. The festival is open from 10am to 6pm today.

Agroterrorism: Food Poisoning Brought to a New Level @ Chicago History Museum

This won't be scary, I'm sure: poisons expert Dr. Jerrold Leikin of NorthShore Health System talks about how food has been used as a weapon of bioterrorism today at the Chicago History Museum (1601 N. Librarian Pub Crawl @ Atlantic Bar and Grill

The Revelettes '60s Go-Go Spectacular

The Revelettes '60s Go-Go Spectacular runs Saturday nights in May at the Prop Theater, 3502 N. Elston Ave., at 10:30pm. This full-length spectacular features go-go troupe The Revelettes performing dance numbers inspired by the surf and sci-fi movies of the 1960s, with house band the Reveltones, multi-talented curio-collector host Andy Somma and many special guests, including comedienne Mary Zematis, juggler extraordinaire Brad French, retro singer John Connors, and Vaudevillians the Gentlemen Follies.
