Chicago's Largest Non-Profit Fair
Chicago Non-Profit, the Young Professionals of Chicago and the Chicagoland Chamber present the Chicago's Largest Non-Profit Fair tonight at the Embassy Suites Lakefront, 511 N. Columbus Dr., from 5:30 to 8pm. Meet more than 90 local non-profits and network with other professionals. Tickets are $12, or $7 for YPC members.
The Miss Neo Pageant @ Neo-Futurarium
The Neo-Futurists present their latest prime-time show, The Miss Neo Pageant, opening this evening and running through June 22. The play, described as "a feminist play for accidental feminists," is directed by Neo veteran Stephanie Shaw and features the stories of five female Neo ensemble members and collaborators. Performances are Thursday, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm; tickets are $20, $10 for seniors/students, and pay what you can on Thursdays. Performance Anxiety @ The Pleasure Chest
Caitlin Bergh and Goodrich Gevaart host this Chicago spin-off of TJ Miller's LA show at The Pleasure Chest (3436 N. Lincoln Ave). In a sex-positive atmosphere, Performance Anxiety provides a room for the city's top comics and hardworking up-and-comers. The show starts at 8pm. It is free, 18+ and BYOB. Audience members receive a 15% discount on store merchandise after the show.
