Connect the Hops Beer/Bike Tour

Beer and bikes are a winning combination at this daylong pub crawl on wheels, visiting places like Revolution Brewery, Half Acre, Goose Island, and Haymarket (a few of them will have some special tastings on hand for you, too). Event costs $15 per person (covers tips for brewers and your own souvenir bottle) and begins 10am; registration required.

Randolph Street Market

The Randolph Street Market begins its summer season this weekend, May 25-26, in the Plumbers Union Hall, 1340 W. Washington St. Browse for antiques and ephemera, vintage clothing, jewelry, art, vinyl records and more, from 10am to 5pm each day. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door; students get $3 admission in advance, $5 at the door.

Harold Lloyd's Safety Last @ Music Box

The Music Box Theatre presents a special screening of Harold Lloyd's classic film Safety Last. Along with the screening there will be a reception with live music, live vaudeville acts, and a special sneak peek at the renovations going on inside the theater's smaller screening room. Annie Mok and Sam Sharpe @ Quimby's

Tonight at 7pm, Annie Mok and Sam Sharpe stop by Quimby's, 1854 W. North Ave. Mok (formerly known as Ed Choy) and Sharpe collaborated on the comic "Roosterlegs" that appeared in the anthology Little Heart: A Comics Anthology for Marriage Equality (click here for a sneak peek ). Free.

Mascot @ The Den Theatre

In Chris Bower's original comic tragedy, Mascot , actor Matt Test takes on the character of a man estranged from his family and meditating on ways to continue seeing his son. Through May 26 at the Den Theatre. Showtimes: Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 3pm. JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound record release show @ Mayne Stage

Popular neo-soul band JC Brooks & The Uptown Sound get rocking tonight at the Mayne Stage, 1328 W. Morse Ave., to celebrate their sophomore album release Howl. Yoko And The Oh No's, The Ye Ye's, And Absolutely Not open the show. Lobby doors open at 7:30, music starts at 9pm. Tickets are $28. Show is 18+.

Kaumakaiwa Kanaka'ole @ Old Town School of Folk Music

As part of the Festival of Aloha happening this weekend the Old Town School of Folk Music presents an evening concert by dancer and musician Kaumakaiwa Kanaka'ole in their main concert hall at 4544 North Lincoln Avenue. Mr. Kanaka'ole is a five-time winner of the prestigious Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award, and comes from a distinguished family of practitioners of hula. Fans of Pacific Island music will definitely want to attend this concert! The show starts at 8:00pm; tickets are $22, and can be purchased through the Old Town School Website, or call the box office at (773) 728-6000.

Die Kreuzen @ Double Door

Milwaukee hardcore legends Die Kreuzen bring their high-speed squall to the Double Door, 1572 N. Milwaukee, marking their first Chicago stop since reuniting in May 2012 after two decades apart. Vocalist Dan Kubinski and co. will comb through the tracks that defined their genre-bending '80s heyday with restless songs and blistering screech intact, proving that their particular brand of highly influential hardcore still holds sway. We Are Hex and Canadian Rifle open. Tickets $17, available here.

The Revelettes '60s Go-Go Spectacular

The Revelettes '60s Go-Go Spectacular runs Saturday nights in May at the Prop Theater, 3502 N. Elston Ave., at 10:30pm. This full-length spectacular features go-go troupe The Revelettes performing dance numbers inspired by the surf and sci-fi movies of the 1960s, with house band the Reveltones, multi-talented curio-collector host Andy Somma and many special guests, including comedienne Mary Zematis, juggler extraordinaire Brad French, retro singer John Connors, and Vaudevillians the Gentlemen Follies. Tickets are $15 in advance or at the box office. BYOB or hit the concession stand.

The Goonies @ Logan Theatre

The Logan Theatre, 2646 N. Milwaukee Ave., screens The Goonies at 11:30pm tonight. Tickets are $7.
