Do-Division Street Fest

Do-Division Street Fest & Sidewalk Sale continues in West Town today. There will be plenty of live music, shopping and entertainment for the whole family throughout the three day festival. The fun begins at 12pm and runs until 10pm, then picks back up tomorrow. The Do-Division Family Fun Fest goes from noon to 6pm. Admission to Do-Division is a suggested $5 donation.

Maifest

Lincoln Square's Maifest takes over Lincoln and Leland avenues between Western and Eastwood today through Sunday, May 30 to June 2. Enjoy fresh German beer, soft pretzels and sausage, live music and other fun. Tonight's entertainment includes Phenix, Paloma, Euro Express, the Captain Blood Orchestra and Sound Foundry. Today's hours are noon to 11pm. Admission is free.

Chicago by Day and Night @ Newberry Library

From Cuts to Cult: Chicago Meat Past to Present

The Unnatural Natural: 2 Films about Environmental Hazard

The Pullman State Historic Site and South Side Projections present "The Unnatural Natural," a screening of two films concerning memory and time, the politics of landscape, and uncertain and uncontainable environmental risk: Yucca Mtn Tally, about America's first national high-level nuclear waste repository, and Around Crab Orchard, a documentary about the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge in southern Illinois, which is also a Superfund clean-up site. The free screening is at 2pm today at the historic Pullman clock tower building, 11057 S. Cottage Grove Ave. Free parking.

Spectrum @ Stage 773

Spectrum is the seventh dance concert of Matter Dance Company, featuring a variety of types of dance from tap to modern. The Paper Machete

This afternoon at 3pm, Jordan Matter presents his new book, Dancers Among Us, at City Lit Books, 2523 N. 80s Double Feature @ Film Center
