Think Tank Comedy's Chasing The Hype

Sketch comedy virtuosos Think Tank take their brand of hockey-blade sharp humor, silly satire and bizarre scenarios to The Den Theater, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave., for Chasing The Hype, Sundays in June until the 23rd. Chasing The Hype ribs America's up-to-the-nano-second affinity for news and information, no matter how inaccurate or under-reported it may be. Tickets are $10 (plus small service fee) and are available online or at the door, which opens at 7:30pm. Here's Think Tank's latest video.

Deap Vally @ Subterranean

Deap Vally (not a spelling mistake) is a Los Angeles-based band that's a little dirty and all rock. Their EP Get Deap shows off a brash guitar/drum duo being raw and electric. They look primed to break out in 2013 with a ton of touring. (And they'll be back in August for Lollapalooza.) Deap Vally opens for the Whigs at Subterranean. Brighton, MA opens the show at 8PM. The show's $12 and 17+. Subterranean's at 2011 W North.
