Guerrilla Truck Show
The 9th annual Guerrilla Truck Show fills the streets with design tonight from 5:30 to 9:30pm, centered on Fulton Market and Aberdeen. Check out more than 60 cargo trucks loaded with work by artists and designers. Free.
Chicago's Funniest Media Personality @ Laugh Factory
The Laugh Factory, 3175 N. Broadway, hosts Chicago's Funniest Media Personality, a stand-up comedy competition featuring media folk from print, broadcast and online -- including Joe Cicero, Tracy Swartz, Aly Bockler, Ted Brunson, Harry Teinowitz, Bob and Marianne Sirott, Patrick Capone, Stefan Holt, Mike Toomey, Brian Noonan, Scott Miller, Pat Tomasulo, Ernest Wilkins and Anthony Adams. Each will do a five-minute set, and the audience will vote for their favorites. The top vote-getter will win a donation to the charity of their choice, in addition to bragging rights. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, plus two drink minimum. Doors open at 5:30pm, show starts at 6:30pm. 18+
Caddyshack @ Music Box Theatre
The Music Box Theatre presents the latest in Trib Nation's screenings of classic sports films, the 1980 film Caddyshack,, with discussion of the film by the Tribune's film critic Michael Phillips and sports columnist Steve Rosenbloom.
