Taste of Chicago Sister Cities: Busan @ Kendall College
Former Top Chef-er Beverly Kim, along with husband and chef Johnny Clark, will be at the helm of this culinary tribute to Chicago sister city Busan, South Korea tonight at 6pm at Kendall College (900 N. North Branch). Enjoy five courses of regional cuisine and wine. Your $100 admission helps support the Busan Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International.
The Moth @ Haymarket
It's the second Monday of the month, time for the Moth at Haymarket (737 W. Randolph St.), for another open mic storytelling contest, this time on the theme of "Rules." Come with your best five minute story (memorized, no pages allowed onstage) and put your name in for the chance to tell a story. Who knows, you could be the next Moth StorySLAM winner. Hosted by Don Hall. Tickets are $8 at the door, $16 online in advance, which guarantee you entry. Doors open at 5pm, stories start at 8pm. 21+
