Dose Market @ 1st Ward
Dose Market brings together gourmet food purveyors, artists and other artisans together for its weekly "curated marketplace" in the 1st Ward bar at Chop Shop, 2033 N. Milwaukee Ave., from 10am to 4pm. This week is "Holidose, a chance to pick up culinary-themed gifts for the loved ones on your list. Admission is free.

93XRT Big Holiday Concert @ Chicago Theatre
The Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State St., presents the "93XRT Big Holiday Concert" tonight at 7pm. This holiday musical showcase stars The Head and The Heart, with special guests Dawes and Thao & The Get Down Stay Down. Tickets are $45; for more information, call 800-745-3000.
Fifth House Ensemble @ Constellation
The Fifth House Ensembleperform a holiday concert of sorts, featuring works by George Crumb, Alfred Schnittke, and Arnold Schoenberg, followed by Baroque masters Corelli and Bach, tonight at Constellation, 3111 N. Western Ave. Tickets are $17-20 in advance or at the door. Proceeds support the groups education programs in CPS schools, and include a $5 drink voucher. Doors open at 8pm, show's at 8:30pm.
Jason Cevallos Benefit @ Aviary
At 10pm tonight, the Aviary, 955 W. Fulton Market, hosts a celebration of the life of Jason Cevallos, one of the bar's opening team members who passed away recently. There will be punches from Sable, the Barrelhouse Flat, the Savoy, the Dawson, the Publican, Scofflaw, Drumbar, Bar Deville, Sportman's Club and La Sirena Clandestina available for sampling; put a dollar in the tip jar for your favorites. There will also be a silent auction of cool stuff and experiences around the city. $20 at the door will cover food and drinks for the evening, and all proceeds and tips will be donated to Cevallos's family. 21+
