Cider Battle @ Pizza Rustica

A Cider Battle will be hosted by Pizza Rustica, 3908 North Sheridan Road. The competition will feature three small-batch flavors from Sonoma Cider. The battle will conclude with a winner and gives all participants complimentary samples of Sonoma's apple, pear and bourbon ciders. The battle begins at 6 p.m. and free, (but the average pizza is $12).

Scott Ian @ Mayne Stage

Anthrax frontman Scott Ian is following in Henry Rollins' formidable footsteps with a "speaking words" tour, coming to Chicago tonight at Mayne Stage, 1328 W. Morse Ave. (In other words, there will be no music, just talking.) Tickets are $25 in advance, $28 day-of. Doors open at 6pm, show's at 7:30pm. 21+

We Want Your Bra: Bra Drive Blowout Party @ She-nannigans

She-nannigans is accepted lightly used bras to benefit victims of domestic violence through February 20. In celebration of the donations, a Bra Drive Blowout Party will be held at She-nannigans, 16 West Division Street, at 8 p.m.

Dunn Dunn Fest @ Tonic Room

Harmonica Dunn brings back his Dunn Dunn Fest for another year this weekend, Feb. 20-22. Tonight's show features Tristen, Chicago Farmer and Ryan Joseph Anderson at Tonic Room, 2447 N. Halsted St. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets are $15 in advance or at the door, or get a three-day pass for $30. 21+

Day Job @ LivingRoom

The painter Dmitry Samarov, who chronicled his experience driving cabs for a living in Hack: Stories from a Chicago Cab, has an exhibit titled "Living in Chicago" on display at LivingRoom, 1530 W. Superior St. In conjunction with the exhibit, he is curating an event called: Day Job, a night of stories about the places we go whether we want to or not. Featuring Melina Ausikaitis, Martha Bayne, Mairead Case, Robin Cline, Sarah Frier, Kevin McDonnough, Chris Schoen and Levi Stahl. This event is free, and starts at 8:30pm. Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, Disappears @ Lincoln Hall

Wig out with Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln, and behold the breezy new collection of pop tunes from the Pavement frontman and his band of NBA fans/"indie guys trying to sound Memphis." Our Kranky locals Disappears will open, and the band's muscular new rhythm section pounding out jams behind Brian Case's ecstatic caterwaul is sure to kick things off finely.
