CAF All-Access Tours @ Auditorium Theatre

Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the architectural landmark Auditorium Theatre with the Chicago Architecture Foundation tonight from 6 to 8pm. Tickets are $30 for members, $35 for nonmembers and include one drink ticket. Cash bar also available. More information here.

Great Beer Hunter @ 1st Ward

Beer enthusiasts will gather at 1st Ward (2033 W. North Ave) tonight at 6pm to drink and discuss the work of Michael Jackson--the journalist who is known to many as the father of craft beer (and not the guy who sang the songs and wore the glove). You'll get to see a documentary about his life, discuss his work, and best of all, drink good beer (cash bar, sorry). Tickets $15.

The Internet / Milo & Otis @ Bottom Lounge

The Internet, a soul band fronted by Syd "the Kyd" of Odd Future, plays alongside Milo & Otis tonight at Bottom Lounge, 1375 W. Lake St. Doors open at 6pm show's at 7pm. Tickets are $18 in advance or at the door. All ages.

The Art Institute of Chicago has invited Jennifer Doyle, Professor of English and Co-Chair of the LGBIT Studies Minor at University of California to speak about her newest book, "Hold It Against Me: Difficulty and Emotion in Contemporary Art". The Moth StorySLAM @ Martyrs'

Martyrs hosts the monthly Moth StorySLAM tonight at 8:00pm. Five audience members compete with a five-minute story on a given topic, and the person judged to be the winner of the slam goes on to the Grandslam Championships.
