There's a tribute to Frankie Knuckles tonight on the Chase Central Promenade in Millennium Park, 201 E. Randolph St., starting at 6pm with opening words from Robert Williams and Alan King, followed by DJ sets by Elbert Phillips, Craig Loftis, Greg GrayMike Winston and Mike Winston. The show is over at 9pm. Free.
The Reader's Mick Dumke and Ben Joravsky host First Tuesdays with Mick & Ben tonight at 6:30pm at the Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia Ave. Guests this time around will be Illinois state rep Christian Mitchell, AFSCME lobbyist Adrienne Alexander and Green Party state rep candidate Will Guzzardi.
