Ginza Festival @ Midwest Buddhist Temple

The 59th annual Ginza Festival, runs Aug. 8-10 at the Midwest Buddhist Temple, 435 W. Menomonee St. Enjoy traditional Japanese foods, watch martial arts demonstrations, dance, and taiko drum and other musical performances, and browse crafts by visiting Japanese artisans. A donation of $7 for adults, $6 for children and seniors is requested. The festival is open from 5:30 to 9pm tonight.

Fourth is King x The Hood Internet @ Rational Park

The Hood Internet and streetwear brand Fourth Is King team up for a joint at Rational Park, 2557 W. North Ave., tonight from 6 to 10pm. For the Hood Internet, it's a release party for their The Mixtape Vol. 8; they'll have copies on CD to give away. For Fourth Is King, it's a pop-up shop for their latest designs. For everyone, there'll be Old Style, Parce Rum and Dark Matter coffee.

Shame That Tune @ Hideout

Shame That Tune returns to the Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia Ave., tonight at 6:30pm. Abraham Levitan and Brian Costello host the live comedy and musical game show. Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door. 21+

My Big Fat Greek Grand Opening @ Corks & Brushes

Corks and Brushes is an alternative art space located in Greektown. The space offers BYOB painting classes as well as kids painting and craft classes. Tonight from 7pm to 11pm is the grand opening celebration of their second location, at 770 W. Gladys Ave., which will feature meet and greets, artwork, Greek food and plenty of wine. RSVP online or choose to make a small donation to the art space.

White Mystery @ Hideout

White Mystery headlines the Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia Ave., tonight, with Make-Overs, The Uh Bones and Sultan Bathery opening. Doors are at 9pm, show's at 9:30pm. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. 21+
