Open House Chicago

If you have ever gone by one of the city's finest-looking buildings, museums, or places of worship and thought, "I'd love to go inside and look around," this is YOUR MOMENT. During this weekend's annual Open House Chicago event, over 150 buildings all over the city, among them the Tribune Tower, Bronzeville's Meyer's Ace Hardware/Sunset Cafe, the Gold Coast's Holy Name Cathedral, and North Lawndale's the original Sears Tower are among the places where you'll get behind-the-scenes views of these significant contributors to the city's rich, unparalleled history. Event is sponsored by the Chicago Architectural Foundation; event is free, but members get access to additional sites. Runs Saturday and Sunday; hours of operation vary by location, so check in advance.

Northern Grade @ Millennium Park

Northern Grade, a "roving market of USA made goods," is on the South Promenade of Millennium Park today and Sunday. Shop for neat stuff from around two dozen companies, from 11am to 7pm today.

The Massacre @ Portage Theater

Terror In the Aisles presents The Massacre 24-hour horror movie marathon at the Portage Theater, 4050 N. Milwaukee Ave., starting today at noon (doors open at 11am) and running until noon Sunday. Featured films include The Haunted Palace, Black Christmas, Chopping Mall, Tenebrae and the original Day of the Dead, plus many more. The Marshmallow Ghosts will perform live music, Chicago Hauntings will offer haunted bus tours, directors Jim Wynorsky and Doug McKeown will make appearances, and there will be a vendor area in the lobby. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

CHAOS Brew Club Harvest Fest

CHAOS Brew Club hosts its annual Harvest Fest tonight from 6 to 11pm at 2417 W Hubbard St. Taste more than 20 home-brewed beers, learn more about yeast's role in beer making, and enter a raffle for fun prizes. There will also be a Thanksgiving-style buffet. Free for members -- and you can become one on a trial basis for $30. Hint, hint. 21+

Los Straitjackets @ FitzGerald's

The luchador-masked instrumentalists Los Straitjackets and Deke Dickerson perform at FitzGerald's, 6615 W. Roosevelt Rd. in Berwyn, tonight. The Cook County Soul Alliance opens. Doors are at 7:30pm, show's at 8:30. Tickets are $20. 21+

Graze Magazine Release Party

Graze magazine celebrates the release of its sixth issue, "Golden Delicious," with a party tonight from 8 to 11pm. at Observatory Studios, 3036 N. Lincoln Ave., ste. 4. Enjoy live performances by Ariel Upton and Knife and Fork; food from Katherine Anne Confections, Cellar Door Provisions, Goddess and Grocer and Heartland Café; and beer by Kimbell Brewing and Lagunitas. There will also be a raffle for a variety of food- and drink-related prizes. Tickets are $10, and include a copy of the magazine.

Lebowski Fest @ Diversey Rock 'n Bowl

Lebowski Fest goes bowling at Diversey Rock 'n Bowl, 2211 W. Diversey Pkwy., from 8pm to midnight tonight. There'll be costume contests, trivia contests, and of course bowling -- plus the debut of the new Big Lebowski pinball game. Tickets are $25. All ages, man.

Sondre Lerche @ Lincoln Hall

Sondre Lerche headlines Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., tonight, with TEEN opening. Tickets are $15. Doors open at 9pm. 21+
