The Randolph Street Market runs Saturday and today at the Plumbers Union Hall, 1340 W. Washington St., from 10am to 5pm. Shop for antique, vintage and modern furniture, jewelry, artwork and housewares. Admission is $8 in advance, $10 at the door; see the website for package deals.

The Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo, aka C2E2, runs April 24-26 at McCormick Place, 2301 S. Martin Luther King Dr. Attend panels and screenings, meet comic book artists, check out special performances, buy memorabilia and meet celebrities such as wrestler CM Punk, Haley Atwell of "Agent Carter," director Kevin Smith, Ming-Na Wen of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Sylvester McCoy of "Doctor Who" and actor Sean Astin. The show runs from 10am to 5pm today. Tickets for today are $30 in advance, $40 at the door; three-day passes are $60 in advance, $70 at the door.

Version Festival 15

Version Festival 15 runs April 23 to May 3. The theme this year is "100 Watts" in honor of organizer Public Media Institute's newly licensed low-power radio station. Today's events include soundscaping and media workshops at the Co-Prosperity Sphere, 3219 S. Morgan St., from 1 to 7pm. Admission is free but registration is required, as space is limited. Then from 9pm to 2am, WLPN broadcasts live from Maria's, 960 W. 31st St., featuring BEAT TRVLR: Reel to Reel and DJ King Hippo. No cover, 21+.

Chicago Improv Festival

The 18th annual Chicago Improv Festival runs April 20-26 at multiple locations. There are two shows today, and they're both in the same place: Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. Spontaneous Combustion, 45 Kings, Collage do long-form improv at 1pm, and Jeffrey Sweet performs the one-man show You Only Shoot the Ones You Love at 4pm. Dance Extravaganza @ Old Town School of Folk Music

The Old Town School of Folk Music presents an evening of dance featuring artists and students from the school's dance classes. Expect to see bellydance, go-go, tap, capoeira, and more. The show starts at 3:00pm in the school's newest building at 4545 N. Lincoln Avenue; full details at the school's site, or call (773) 728-6000.

{she crew} Sadie Hawkins Dance @ Hideout

Youth literacy group {she crew} hosts a Sadie Hawkins dance at the Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia Ave., from 6 to 9pm. There will be performances by She's Crafty and Forte, music between sets by DJ blackdaylight, Dimos pizza and Bang Bang pies, a fantastic raffle and the "famous Patriarchy Pinata." Tickets are $25. 21+

"Diversified" at Under the Gun Theater

Under the Gun Theater, 956 W. Newport Ave. presents "Diversified," three nights of comedy in all its diverse forms. Curated by Elizabeth Gomez, tonight's lineup includes storytelling by Jeremy Owens, a character study by Maya Hougton, improv by the Under the Gun Ensemble, and stand-up by Josh Jonson, Kristin Clifford, Brandi Denise, Amy Shanker and Marla Depew. The show starts at 9pm. Tickets are $12.
