Chicago Summer Opera mounts a full production, with orchestra, of A Midsummer Night's Dream tonight at Mayne Stage, 1328 W. Morse Ave., today at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Essay Fiesta! @ The Book Cellar
Starting at 7pm, Essay Fiesta! will commandeer The Book Cellar (4736-38 N Lincoln) for an evening of live lit from some of Chicago's finest storytellers, including Erin Diamond, Katie Pecho, Jac Jemc, Katie Prout, and James Gordan. This event is free, but donations are accepted on behalf of 826Chicago.
