Rubber Ducky Derby
The 10th annual Windy City Rubber Ducky Derby to benefit Special Olympics of Illinois is today! The festivities begin at 10am at 400 N. Michigan Ave.; the ducks will be dumped from the Columbus Drive bridge at 1pm. Adopt a duck now!
Crow Requiem: A Screening and Discussion @ Gallery 400
Gallery 400, located at 400 S. Peoria St., will be presenting the film "Crow Requiem" (2015) in conjunction with the exhibition "After Today". After the screening, Cauleen Smith, Ian Curry, and Krista Franklin will lead a discussion. The screening will be from 6-7:30pm.
Cirque du Soleil @ United Center
Cirque du Soleil's new show, Kurios - Cabinet of Curiosities, opens tonight in the Grand Chapiteau (Big Top) at the United Center, 1901 W. Madison St. The show runs 2 hours, 10 minutes, and including an intermission. Through Sept. 20. You can buy tickets here.
Mud Queens @ Reggie's
The Mud Queens of Chicago bring their mud wrestling show to Reggie's, 2105 S. State St., tonight at 8pm. Eiffel Tower, the Rapper Chicks and La Cosa provide the live soundtrack. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. 17+
