Randolph Street Market

The Randolph Street Market returns to the Plumbers Union Hall, 1340 W. Washington St., from 10am to 5pm Saturday and today, both indoors and in the parking lot. Shop for antiques, vintage collectibles, art, jewelry and more from dozens of vendors. Admission is $8 in advance, $10 at the door.

Edgewater Fall Art Fair

The Edgewater Fall Art Fair runs from 11am to 6pm Saturday and today on Granville Avenue between Broadway and Kenwood. The fair includes more than 120 artists and crafters, live music on three stages, a beer garden, children's activities and more. $5 suggested donation.

Chicago Gourmet @ Millennium Park

The swells gather at Millennium Park this weekend to drink from rivers of wine, sample eats from the city's (and nation's) top chefs, go to seminars and cooking demos, and enjoy the feeling of it all at this year's Chicago Gourmet, which runs from noon-6pm. Tickets start at $200. Sold out.

Hyde Park Jazz Festival

The Hyde Park Jazz Festival runs Saturday and today on two stages on the Midway Plaisance, at Woodlawn and Ellis. Performances run from 2 to 7pm today. Admission is free, but $5 donation suggested.

Dusek's Blocktoberfest

To celebrate their two-year anniversary this fall, Dusek's is putting its own slant on the traditional Oktoberfest with BLOCKTOBERFEST, a free block party that will include sausages and German-inspired dishes by Chef Jared Wentworth, German beer, face painting for the kids and a set of local DJs. Admission is free and will take over the streets of Pilsen, directly in front of Thalia Hall at 18th Street and Allport Avenue from 2pm to 10pm.

Kinosonik @ Black Cinema House

The second edition of Kinosonik, a collaboration between Rebuild Foundation, Experimental Sound Studio, The Nightingale, and Chicago Film Archives, is today from 4 to 6pm at Black Cinema House, 7200 S. Kimbark Ave. Musicians will perform live accompaniment to films from the CFA collection. Doors open at 3:30pm; free, but RSVP requested.

Destroyer @ Thalia Hall

Art-rocker Dan Bejar will be performing at Thalia Hall in support of his new album, Poison Season. This is his tenth album under the moniker Destroyer out of his nearly 20-year long music career. The Orb @ Metro

Acid house progenitors The Orb headline the Metro, 3730 N. Clark St., tonight, with Quadratic opening. Tickets are $21 in advance, $25 day-of. Doors are at 8pm, show's at 9. 18+
