Winter Solstice Concert @ Constellation
Percussionists Hamid Drake and Michael Zerang celebrate their 25th anniversary of their Winter Solstice concerts with a three-day run of 6am shows (yes, 6 in the morning) Dec. 21-23 at Constellation, 3111 N. Western Ave. Tickets are $25. Doors open at 5:30am.
Stagestruck City @ Newberry Library
The Newberry Library, 60 W. Walton St., hosts Stagestruck City, an exhibit illustrating the “little theatre” movement beginning in the 19th century though posters, programs, scripts, letters, and photographs. Learn about Chicago’s theater history for free during normal hours, 8:15am to 7:30pm!
