Fashion's Night Out Hits Chicago

Although Fashion's Night Out began in New York City, the event has quickly spread across the country as a way to celebrate the artistry of the designer and the return of fall. Chicago's Fashion's Night Out promises to be the most eclectic and broad celebration the city has seen (especially with celebrations at new British arrivals such as AllSaints and Topshop). Below are some recommended events taking place tomorrow in the city, beginning tomorrow at 6pm. More information about Fashion's Night Out and additional events taking place throughout the city is available here.

Fame, Fashion & Flavor: 900's Night Out
900 North Michigan Shops
This event -- hosted by Brad Gorecki of The Rachel Zoe Project -- includes a beauty bazaar with mini manicures, massages, eyelash extensions, brow waxing, and hair styling from Mario Tricoci Hair Salon & Day Spa and Bloomingdale's. Guests may also taste food from local restaurants such as prasino and Cibo Matto and craft beers from BridgePort Brewing Company and Trumer Pils. Additional activities include personal styling, a photo booth, and a flash fashion show with clothing from Mark Shale and Bloomingdale's, among others.

AllSaints Chicago
700 N. Michigan Ave.
Featuring DJ Avi Sic, this celebration at the newly opened British import includes complimentary cocktails from Tanteo, the chance to create digital flipbooks, and a 20 percent discount on items throughout the store.

Chanel
935 N. Michigan Ave.
Guests can pick up the newest CHANEL Nail Colour Collection, Les Jeans de Chanel -- created exclusively for Fashion's Night Out by Peter Philips, Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup. These colors, inspired by traditional denim fabric, will be offered along with complimentary mini manicures.

CRUMBS Bake Shop
300 W. Madison Ave.
This newly opened second Chicago location will offer an exclusive Fashion's Night Out Cupcake a white chocolate brownie cupcake with vanilla cream cheese frosting, white chocolate chips and white and chocolate drizzle on top. I recommend you make this your first stop of the night. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the NY AIDS Foundation and NY Community Trust.

cynthia.jpgCynthia Rowley
1653 N. Damen Ave.
Dana Weiss of Possessionista.com will host this party and launch for Bandaid Brand by Cynthia Rowley Adhesive Bandages. Guests can get "fabulips" treatments from blisspa, cocktails, 20 percent discount on purchases from full-priced clothing, and cupcakes from Sprinkles (I see a trend here!). Guests must RSVP to: chicago@cynthiarowley.com

Macy's State Street
111 N. State St.
A bevy of activities will take place throughout the Macy's State Street store. Kelly Osbourne will make an appearance from 6-8:30pm as the new face of Material Girl. From 7:30-8:30pm, Kyle Richards from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and celebrity fashion stylist and host Marcellas Reynolds, will host the "Runway to Reality" fashion presentation. At the KIVA Pampering Station, guests can receive complimentary pampering including nail buffing, a chair massage and hair styling from KIVA Salon. From 7-11pm, the new Vince Camuto shop will celebrate the launch of Vince Camuto ready to wear with drinks and treats. Macy's will have the music covered as well: local band Hey Champ! will perform and DJ Willy Joy will spin throughout the night courtesy of Guilty by Gucci for men.

FNOweb.jpgThe Denim Lounge
43 E. Oak St.
6-8pm
Shoppers can meet the designers from the Chicago-based Henry & Belle Denim Company and sip cocktails at this low-key celebration.

Sir & Madame
938 N. Damen Ave.
One of my favorite local boutiques, Sir & Madame, will host their special Fashion's Night Out celebration that will include cocktails, sweet treats, and live entertainment from Yashi.
