Tony Karman on Expo Chicago
I recently got the opportunity to catch up with Tony Karman about his new endeavor EXPO Chicago. Tony remarks on many of the contributing parties that really made EXPO become what it will be.
Today marks the opening of art season and if you involved in the arts at all here in Chicago you should be very proud of what is going on here. I am not just talking about EXPO when I say that, but it does set a new and vibrant benchmark for what Chicago has to offer the arts. 20 years ago, when I first started as a professional artist, people were saying Chicago deserves more attention internationally, and that is still true, and being said, today, but it is not from a lack of talent or trying. I am just happy to be in the mix of people making things happen so as not to let the talent we nurture here go to waste.
Good luck to Tony and everyone behind EXPO Chicago.
