When I run out of stuff to read. I tend to buy my books just because I like owning them or I can give them away if I want to. I also have to buy books in sets of 2. I need to have at least one thing to read and a backup at all times or I get antsy.

It depends. I tend to try to get things from the library, and buy new books I've read about read about. So I'm at the bookstore and library about every two weeks.
