Event Spotlight: Julie Klam @ Standard Club
On Wednesday, Julie Klam comes to the Standard Club to read from and discuss her memoir Please Excuse My Daughter, an account of her experiences growing up in a traditional and privileged family in New York. Klam also writes about raising her own daughter with the self-reliance and indepedence she developed despite her family's lack of encouragement. Anyone who's had their own experience dealing with class issues and marriage will surely find this interesting. 11:30am at 320 S. Plymouth Ct.
