Event Spotlight: Windy City Comicon
Chicago holds its first ever Comicon this Saturday. Come to the Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St., where a slew of comic book artists, publishers and vendors will be on site to share their work. Events include writing workshops, drawing workshops, gaming tournaments and an after-party at Villains Bar & Grill (649 S. Clark St.), complete with a Halloween costume contest. Featured guests are Jeffrey Brown, Gail Potocki, Chris Burnham, Gene Ha, Sarah Becan and many more. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online. 10am-6pm.
